Planting Advice
Biomass Willow

1 Years growth, approximately 3m high.

1 Year's growth, approximately 1-2 cm wide.

2 Year's growth, approximately 5m high.

2 year's growth, approximately 5cm wide.
Common Osier

This is a very vigorous willow, easily growing to 12 foot. I find it flexible and usable for small and larger structures. It can also be used for living willow structures and landscape work.

Black Maul

A traditional hurdle makers willow.

Continental Purple

Continental Purple is a good willow for garden structures. When first cut it has a bloom like sloes in autumn. Unfortunately this disappears when the willow is soaked before working. Nevertheless it retains its striking colour.

White Welsh

This is a shorter willow that produces these clean, light coloured rods.
